Lost Passport
Report a lost or stolen passport to the local police first to get an official report, then contact the Embassy of India in Brussels for an emergency certificate or replacement.

Act quickly to block bank cards and report the loss.

Scam Awareness
Belgium is generally safe, but be alert to common tourist-area scams.
- Watch for pickpockets in crowded tourist spots and on public transport
- Avoid unofficial/unmarked taxis, especially at the airport
- Be cautious of unsolicited 'petition' or 'friendship bracelet' distractions used by pickpocket teams
